President

I am the founder and current President of Ejagham Tradition Centre fondly called EjT. After being challenged by my son, it beat my imagination that Ejagham rich heritage did not have the appropriate visibility in the community of cultures. Recognising that there are many parents out there in similar situation, it became clear that a structured action was necessary to address the situation, hence EjT was born.

I am a professional Marine Engineer with several years of experience and still an active member of the global energy community of practice. I joined the Shipping and Maritime industry as an Engineer Cadet and served across the value chain of the industry from operating foreign going vessels, procurement of vessels, design and construction of vessels, management of fleet of vessels to providing shipping and maritime assurance to industry trading and supply operatives. In each of these services I demonstrated, and still do, a passion for safe operations and a learners’ mind-set for continuous improvement and growth.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Cryogenic Systems Management from the Middlesex University in London. I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Chartered Marine Engineer (CMarEng), a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology (FIMarEST) and also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (FRINA).

I believe that in all that we do, we should be “professional in our execution”, a belief underpinned by integrity and respect for one another and the law and attention to details.

I am a family man, Mgbe initiate, respectful, team player, always hopeful, caring, football loving, devout Christian, Njagham and much more. I am passionate about Ejagham Tradition, I love listening to music especially traditional music and always sees opportunities in challenges.

As current President of EjT, I am focused on rallying Ejagham people and friends of Ejagham to achieving the mission, vision and objectives of EjT and help transmit a health Ejagham heritage to future generations. These I hope to do in partnership with Ejagham tradition Stakeholders.
