The use of data and its associated products have always been, and more so in the 21st century, an effective tool utilised by businesses, corporations and organisations to make decisions and improve performance. Ejagham as a nation can benefit from applying the power of data analytics to enhance Ejagham condition of education and hence Ejagham heritage.
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AKAMKPA STUDENTS WORLD WIDE (NAAS-WW)
On 21st, September, 2023, the above mentioned student Association held her 2nd Congress in Open Pavilion, University of Calabar, Calabar, with the theme, “The Peculiarity in Togetherness”.
The CONGRESS of the National Association of Akamkpa Students Worldwide (NAAS-WW) is a gathering of Akamkpa students from different institutions across the world. The Congress which started at about 2:30pm had in attendance all clusters of the Ejagham Nation and Students from other Local Government who came to celebrate, chant and discusses the development of the union and its upcoming Global National Convention with the theme, “The Intersection of Education and Entrepreneurship”.

The Ejagham Nation cluster and other Local Governments were represented by a dedicated delegation of students.
Achievements: The union has made significant strides in recent times, including improvements in scholarship programs, increased advocacy for student rights, and enhanced community engagement initiatives.

Challenges: We candidly addressed the challenges we face such as scholarship for students, revenue point for the association, acknowledging areas where improvement is needed, particularly in terms of resource allocation and communication.

Future Plans: We outlined our ambitious vision for the future, setting strategic goals and initiatives aimed at advancing the welfare of Akamkpa students and promoting Education sustainability.
Global National Convention in December: We are eagerly looking forward to the Global National Convention scheduled for December. The theme, “The Intersection of Education and Entrepreneurship,” is both timely and relevant. This theme highlights the critical connection between education and entrepreneurship, offering insights into how they can mutually reinforce each other for the benefit of our student community.

Preparations: Our union is working diligently to prepare for the convention, with plans for engaging speakers, informative workshops, and exciting events that will empower and inspire attendees.
Expected Outcomes: We anticipate that the convention will yield valuable insights, foster networking opportunities, and equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complex landscape of education and entrepreneurship.
Conclusively, the participation of all clusters within the Ejagham Nation at the CONGRESS was a testament to our unity and commitment to the Akamkpa student community. The development of our union continues, and we are excited about the prospects of the Global National Convention in December. Your support and involvement in these endeavours are greatly appreciated.

I wish to firstly thank all those who despite their tight schedule were able to attend the Congress, thanks so much.
I also wish to in a most special way extend my gratitude to the Vice President Will Owui, and also Collins for their willingness and commitment at all times to join me in the work for a better ESAN UCC.
Thanks to the president of ESAN WW for coming Comr. Ntui Samuel, you are always be assured of our support as we work together as a team.
Thanks to all for coming – the NACRISS WW Senate President, the emeritus SOSA president, the president of TOSA and other senior stakeholders from TOSA who came.
To Patricia, Mary-Lesslie, Nelson, Kam, Chris Nkom, Choice, Kegnolly, to all and sundry thanks.
To all ESANITES who were unable to attend we still have lots of Congresses for the semester try and attend as lots of programs and benefits awaits you.
At the end of the Congress, we reached a conclusion of making Hon. Kingsley Ntui Isong our Grand Patron, this is due to his achievements as an Ex- malabite and also his commitment to the struggle, we also agreed as a house to coronate Prof. Francis Ebuta Bissong as our Patron and father in the University of Calabar.
We will also be starting our picnics to relaxation centers soonest, where our only means of communication in such Congresses shall be Ejagham language, this is in a bid to encourage all Etung Students to learn how to be fluent at speaking Ejagham.
We shall also commence our almanac production in no distant time, we call on our political leaders and all other men of goodwill to please identify with us in making this a reality.
A writing competition shall also be organized before the end of the semester to encourage students’ literacy and research mostly about the Ejagham Etung people.
We have lots of programs and projects to executed some will be unveiled before the end of the semester please always do well to support us at least morally with your support.
