Unyatu: This is male dance with two masquerades – Ibull ( female) and Ishugushugu (male). The outing is mostly at burial/funeral ceremonies.
Atam
Agud: an elderly female dance group. It has two masquerades. For burial/funeral ceremonies as well as for social occasions.
Ikpo Shashag: The Ikpo shashag, is the masquerade of the Ishi Ibohr/Nkim people. It is featured only at the exit, by demise, of the Ntol (king).
Mkpum: Warrior dance. Strictly for brave males, aged and adults. There is only one masquerade but terrifying. Its outing is when a warrior or an octogenarian and above, passes on
Irom ubem: A male dance for hunters. It has one masquerade. Its outing is strictly at the demise of a member after an organized hunting expedition to honour the departed member.
Irom Agrinya: A male dance, strictly for the burial/funerals of war heroes, aged or otherwise. It has one radical masquerade with flame on its mask head as it gyrates.
koom: This is a male dance associated with water cult. All the participants are masked with camwood of various colours as well as budding (fresh) palm fronds round their heads and stuffed to their mouths.
Akorr: This is a female masquerade dance. Its outing is for social gatherings’ entertainment. It has two masquerades.
Ijorr: This is a female dance for entertainment also. It features during social gatherings. It has two masquerades.
Agileng: A male dancing group. Participants are muscular in response to the demand of the exhibition involved. No masquerade.
Ayog-Aba. This is a masquerade dance for males. It has two masquerades, Ishugushugu and the other termed the female . It is futures in all ceremonies once it’s services is solicited
